Break out the party hats, boys ‘n’ girls–today is Phoebe’s birthday!
This is always going to be an easy date for me to remember, because for Patty and me, it’s the anniversary of our first date, on Dec. 26, 1976. The Islanders Polynesian Restaurant.
But first, it’s our time to join in celebrating Phoebe’s birthday and making sure she knows how much she means to us, and to our fellowship.
Happy birthday, Phoebe!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PHOEBE!!! 😄🎂🎉 I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
Also happy anniversary of your first date, Mr. and Mrs. Duigon!! 😊
Thank you, Lee and Joshua — and I love the birthday card!
Happy Birthday, Phoebe!
Thank you, Lydia!
You’re welcome!
I add my greetings to the others. A HAPPY, HAPPY DAY to you.
Thank you, Erlene, and bless you.
Hmm. so were you born before or after December 26 became Lee’s anniversary? lol – just kidding. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Phoebe. And many, many more.
Thank you, Marlene. And by the way, I was born 3 weeks after Pearl Harbor — long before Lee’s first date, I think! 🙂
Happy birthday, Phoebe! My daughter’s birthday is today also.
Thanks, Michele, and happy birthday to your daughter as well!
Happy birthday Phoebe! A little late since I’m reading the digest version of Lee’s blog, but heartfelt just the same. Hope you had a good one!
What’s a digest version?
WordPress sends me your entire day’s posts in one email, once a day (around 1:30 a.m.) instead of sending me a separate email every time you post something new.
Oh, OK–I didn’t know about that feature.
Happy Birthday Phoebe! A little late, didn’t check my mail yesterday.
Thank you, everyone, but I’m going to be a bit out of contact for a while. My internet provider is having outages in my area. I’m writing this on my phone, which fortunately uses a different provider, but I can’t keep doing this all afternoon, not to mention reading and listening to posts. Isn’t technology grand? 🙁
We understand.
Happy BD, Phoebe!!! December birthdays are the best, especially around Christmas – such a festive time to be born.
Thanks, Whiterabbit, and yes, I now love having a birthday right around Christmas, since it gives me an excuse to eat a lot for three days in a row, including Christmas Eve. 🙂 When I was a kid, though, I hated it, because I never got to have a classroom birthday party like the other kids whose birthdays were during the school year.
I hadn’t thought of that since my birthday is the 19th, usually about the last day of school before Christmas break. My younger brother’s birthday is today, the 29th – I imagine he can identify with you.
