That’s a freakin’ robot “asking” you to stand there holding your phone while they prepare to hit you with a commercial.
Who’s stupider? Someone who actually waits on hold because a robot told him to, or someone who thinks this is a fantastic way to sell his product?
And the nuisance calls keep coming…
I usually hang up as soon as I hear the robotic voice (usually female) say “We’ve been trying to reach you….”
Who was the U.S. Senator? My sister is now a widow. She answers the phone no matter who calls. I think she is just lonely. She also opens all the junk mail she gets and reads tit. What is scary is her husband left here a whole of money. I pray she does not get scammed.
