George Washington Didn’t Sleep Here, But a Cat Did

We humans are choosy: we always sleep in a bed, if possible.

But cats are creative. They’ll sleep anywhere. I can’t think of the last time I saw a human sprawled on the hood of a car, sleeping. But what I really want to know is why cats try to jam themselves into boxes, bowls, or jars only half their size. Theories, anyone? (We’ll settle for idle speculation.)
