We’ve had a hard time of it, these past few days.
Patty had extremely painful back spasms.
Robbie stopped eating.
My heel spur went back to hurting me all day.
All this with our 45th wedding anniversary coming up on Monday!
Patty blamed our old office chair for the spasms, so we ordered a new one. I cobbled it together last night… and so far, so good. No more spasms. Yet. And Robbie finally ate a whole can of cat food.
Oh, I had a dream last night that was hard to wake up from! We haven’t had a vacation this century–but there we were at the shore house we used to rent every year. We were on our way to the beach, to wade in the surf.
If you’ve been praying for us, we appreciate it.
And yes, I overslept this morning. On to breakfast.
such good news
Keeping our fingers crossed!
Sometimes, all we can do is take life one day at a time.
So good to be blessed with a good day! I sometimes forget to give thanks for the occasional absence of pain or worry — but I seldom forget to grumble about their presence. 🙂 Anyway, I’m glad the three of you have had a respite for a while, and I continue to pray for all of you. May the respite continue for a long time, and may the vacation dreams come true!
We haven’t had a vacation during this century, so far.
Sometimes, one NEEDS a vacation. I haven’t had one in nearly 3 years, so I’m. Looking forward to getting away, but it could be another year, before I do.
My last “going away” vacation was in 1992.
You’ve got us beat.
Good to hear.
Long taxing weekend for me; praying fo ryou
