Prayer Request: John

[The computer conked out as soon as I started to type this, but we’ve got it back.]

We have a prayer request for Phoebe’s friend, John, 89, who has just gotten word that he has cancer: that’s all we know, so far. Phoebe and John and a few others are at their church early every morning to get it ready for the day. She tells us he’s a real prayer warrior… and Lord, we can’t afford to lose our prayer warriors.

Please, Father, be swift to heal your servant, John, so he can continue in his service and in his fellowship with your saints who are still here, working for your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, O God, please hear our prayers–Amen.

    1. Thank you, Mike.

  1. Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. It looks as though John’s cancer is treatable, but the surgery will be a bit tricky because of John’s age and keeping the balance of his medications right. Again, thank you for your prayers.

    1. Well, surgery is never a picnic, is it? Patty is hoping she can get treated without surgery (don’t ask me how). Please tell John he’s got people praying for him.
