What’s Wrong With ‘Democracy’

[Thanks to Dave for the cartoon]

This cartoon succinctly tells us what’s wrong with “democracy.”

Believe it or not, “everybody” can be wrong and often is! And if everybody’s wrong enough, the whole shebang goes belly-up.

History tells us so. In a fit of hysterical jingoism, Athens widens the Peloponnesian War, invades Sicily, and loses an army and a navy–and the war. Yeahbut, yeahbut! Everybody voted for it! And everyone was wrong.

It doesn’t matter if some “majority” wants Transgender: it’s still disastrously wrong. For heaven’s sake, this is why our country’s founders took such pains to give us a republic instead of a “democracy.” They knew that Everybody can be wrong! Remember when “everybody” in Troy (except Laocoon) wanted to drag the Trojan Horse into the city? It didn’t take too long to find out what a bad idea that was.

I can’t think of a single thing the Far Left Crazy gets right. Can you?

  1. Well, the Far Left is pretty good at the art of stealing elections. They’re also good at reducing thriving cities to reeking rubble and a vibrant economy to want and misery. Remember, that’s their goal: to destroy and then rebuild their Utopia. So in the sense of achieving their goal, they’re doing great so far, at least in the destruction part.
