The world’s on fire, our own health’s not too good–but today we’re going to watch The Chosen and I’m going to post some stuff that hopefully will make you laugh.
O Lord our God! The wicked and the ungodly are running wild on this fallen world, hatching evil plots, trapping the innocent, we see no restraints on them: they break Your law and man’s with equal want of caring.
But how many times, in the Psalms and all throughout the Scriptures, have you assured us that their day is not forever, their power and wealth an illusion, and your judgment over them an inescapable reality?
In our weakness we defy them: our hope is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. “Let judgment pour down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream” (Amos 5:24).

I saw the new movie “Jesus Revolution” today. It is very good, about the Jesus revival in southern California in the early 1970’s. I had gone to Calvary Chapel back then so the movie was especially relevant to me.
