No, It’s Not a Satire… It’s All Too Real

You asked for him, folks… And now you’ve got him.

The mayor of Marlboro used to asked me, “Can’t you write stories about good government in action?” And I’d answer, “Sorry! Can’t find any.”

But check this out. It’s happening now.

Overrun with illegal border-jumpers (excuse the tautology), the Far Left Democrat mayor of Chicago decreed the construction of a vast new “tent city”–for which he’s being sued by mostly black residents of Brighton Park, ground zero for the tent city (https://www.breitbart.com/immigration/2023/12/04/black-residents-sue-chicago-mayor-brandon-johnson-migrant-tent-city/). Sort of a NIMBY thing–“Not In My Back Yard.”

But before the suit could be heard, the state stepped in and shut down the project–because it turns out they were building it on top of a toxic landfill!

“The soil is safe as long as you don’t eat it,” said somebody in charge.

(Oh, boy, when things go wrong–!)

Really, you ought to win some sort of prize for that much corruption and incompetence. If only we could find some practical use for it!

    1. Three extra stomachs, that’s what the jab was supposed to create in those that got one, isn’t it?

There are so many of these kinds of stories brother Lee, I am at a loss for words to make a comment. Just nuts, plain insanity.

    2. There was a lot of crazy crapola in the nooze today. I finally just had to stop working: absorb too much of this stuff, and it’ll make you crazy.

  1. On the same link with that story, was this headline. Gavin Newsom: Toy Retailers Must Have ‘Gender Neutral’ Sections or Face Fines.

“When the assembly bill was first introduced, Lego released a statement saying that the company was working to make its products more inclusive for girls.”

Gender Neutral… how about baby bottles, diapers, and pink and blue striped blankets?

More inclusive for girls? What does that mean? All the boys and girls that spend time at my home, love playing with Lego’s. In fact, the 7- and 9-year-old girls are playing with them as I write this. No one is excluded from playing with Lego’s if they want. More inclusive ???????? That is insane!

    Nuts … nuts … nuts …. nuts … nuts … nuts …. nuts … nuts … nuts … nuts …. and more nuts … and double and triple nuts…

Now you’ve done it, my brain is cooked, fried, and overloaded from this dribble. This will now be my go to comment from now on when I read these kind of stories.
