Yes, I know the critter video is late. I plum forgot to post it.
We’ve seen this cat before, first with a rooster and a hen, then with a bunch of ducklings. He seems to have an unusual calling in life.

Yes, and I’ve been wondering how much he is paid for all this work.
YouTube pays per minutes watched. If you have a popular channel, it’s quite possible to support yourself from YouTube videos, but there’s a lot of competition for viewers, so it’s hardly assured that a channel will make a lot of money. Animal videos do very well, overall. I watch the channels I Am Puma, I Am Cheeta, Bobcat TB and Luna The Pantera quite regularly. These are all feline-based channels, with everything from housecats to Lynx, Cougars and even a Leopard who lives as a pet. I also subscribe to this channel, Cat’s Diary and another charming channel called Choo Choo’s Story, which is about Chipmunks.
I Am Puma is about a couple who keep a very well behaved Cougar as a house pet, and they also have a Cheetah. This is a very popular channel with 2.5 million subscribers and millions upon millions of views. Undoubtedly, they make a good living from this.
Bobcat TB is a young woman who actually started with snakes, but went to Bobcats, and now has 5 Lynx, 1 Bobcat, a Cougar, Sand Cats, Maine Coon Cats, some very nice Dogs, a Pig, Beavers and Raccoons. It’s very charming, especially because viewers have gotten to watch her daughter grow from infancy, to a sweet little girl. While I don’t speak Russian and rely upon subtitles, Katya, the creator of the channel, seems like a very nice, very decent person, with exceptional compassion for animals.
Luna is a Leopard that was hand raised by a young woman, and developed an exceptional bond with a Rottweiler, owned by the young woman’s mother. Luna is now an adult Leopard, but very tame and docile. Once again, as in all the cases above, my impression is that the humans involved are kind, loving people with exceptional compassion for animals.
All of this strikes me as having greater implications. Our God didn’t create the animal kingdom with death and violence in mind. At the Fall, the animal kingdom was apparently affected, as well as mankind, and all of the Material Realm. When we see animals in peace with other species, I believe that we are getting a glimpse into what God has in mind, when the order of creation is restored.
While it seems like a long time to us, God is working to accomplish all He has purposed. Setting matters right is a big project, but I believe that God is letting us know that He has not forgotten us.
Very well said.
My mother wouldn’t let me have a pet zebra. She did buy me two newts once, though–at 39 cents each.
