Culture Rot or Culture Collapse?

Metro Transit posting “new rules” that shouldn’t be necessary… but are.

I can’t decide whether to log this item as “culture rot” or “culture collapse.”

The public transit authority in Minneapolis has found it necessary to remind riders that “Transit property is not a public rest room” (https://alphanews.org/metro-transit-reminds-riders-to-not-defecate-on-trains-or-sexually-assault-passengers/). It seems some of the customers have been pooping and pissing in the bus. They’re not supposed to do that.

Oh–and they’re not supposed to sexually assault other passengers. That’s against the rules, too.

Oh, those Blue cities! Where they have to remind people to save their loads for the toilet. And not to assault each other.

I’m sorry if this is a bit raw, but it’s news. We would rather no such reminders should be necessary; but apparently they are.

Progress is our most impotent product!

  1. Minneapolis used to be a great city, now it’s a hellhole. Frankly, I can’t even imagine someone relieving themselves on public transport. Sexual Assault is a crime, on or off the bus.
