Robbie Update

I thought we were going to have supper last night, but instead I was summoned to take Robbie to the veterinary hospital.

She’s still there. We hope to have her home tomorrow.

I don’t understand: she didn’t seem all that sick, and now they’re telling us she’s at death’s door? Don’t these people ever heal any of their patients? I can’t believe people become vets just to get rich. Indeed, Robbie’s regular doctor called us a few minutes ago just to see how she’s doing. But neither did I understand why they had me sit there and stew for two hours.

I know some people don’t get it, why we set such store by a cat. I’m too tired now to try to explain it. I also know that many of you won’t need an explanation.

And thank you so much for your prayers.

  1. My son has gone through quite a bit of hassle with his registered Aussies, but so far nothing quite this complicated. Of course, his oldest dog is only 6 years old, so I hope she makes it
without all this. I’m sorry you are having all this stress. Prayers continue.

  2. When my cat got cancer, over 6 years ago, you, and the community here a great encouragement. Prayers sent, along with all my local support.

Animals are a gift from God, and we can form very strong bonds with the animals in our lives. I’ve. We love our animals and do our best by them. They certainly do tneor best by us.

  3. Mousekin again. Happy Robbie is coming home! Praying she recovers completely. Hoping you have lots of time left to enjoy her.

  4. Pets are a part of the family. Not to care for them is a sin. We are obligated to help them as much as we can within reason – they are not humans made in the image and likeness of God.
