I don’t know why, but I felt a need for this video.
They live in the desert and come out when it rains. There is something fairy-like about them, don’t you think? But the “potato” part… Did they remind someone of little round potatoes?
I’ve had many frogs and toads as pets; but none of them ever yawned like this potato fairy.
That is a new one on me, too. I used to see a lot of frogs and toads when I was a kid living in the country, but never anything like this.
You wouldn’t have seen potato fairies… unless you lived in Southwest Africa.
Wow! That’s a cute little critter. I’ve never seen anything like that. I know that during monsoons, toads, including some very large ones, will come out of seemingly nowhere when it rains, but I don’t remember seeing any of these little fellers.
They may not be pretty, but they sure are cute.
