It’s unusual, to say the least. None of our cats ever did it. My iguana did, until he grew too big. Cats do it, I suppose, a) to see better, b) to earn a tasty treat, or c) because they’ve got a screw loose somewhere.

I love this. My son adopted a bunch of cats that just showed up here, don’t know where they came from, but he is feeding them, and they do this kind of stuff all the time.
Sometimes, I think that cats just love to try new things, just for fun.
