(I can’t bring myself to illustrate this with an appropriate image. Here’s a nice damselfly instead.)
I’m back from the doctor’s, and the word is… cancer. Two great big lumps of it. Gotta craft a treatment plan.
What do you say about a thing like this? God help me and defend me–that’s about the best I can come up with. Crikey, you turn 75 and the roof falls in. And there’s still the arthritis to deal with. That, they think they can fix.
Somehow I’ve got to get into writing mode today. That’ll help. I hope it’s not too freakin’ hot outside.
I remember the consultation call I got 28 years ago. Turned out to be stage four ovarian cancer. I had an amazing surgeon and chemo. God still does miracles.
I’m gonna need one.
Keep in mind that Ronald Reagan had such surgery and recovered completely. My prayers will continue. At least you have a plan of action, now, or will be formulating one soon.
The action will consist of using me as a battlefield for doctors and polyps.
Listen to your doctors and let them do their best.
Mousekin – My prayers continue. The Holy Spirit will strengthen and encourage you. May the Lord guide your doctors to do what is best for your situation. Seems to me avoiding sugar and consuming more raw veggies are always good choices. You are blessed to know the Lord and to have many blog friends praying for you. Stay strong, Lee.
Thanks, Mousekin. Oddly enough, I have begun to feel a little better. Maybe the Holy Spirit’s doing.
God loves you. My family and I are praying for you, Patty, and your doctors.
Thank you, Michele.
I’m keeping you in prayer always. God will give you the strength and help you need.
Thanks, Phoebe.
May the Lord bless you and Patty through this time of trouble. And may you come out stronger on the other side.
I just pray we come out at all.
I will be praying for your healing, Mr. Duigon.
Thanks, Joshua–I’ll need all the prayers I can get.
