It takes a lot of heat to make a good sword.
When I wrote this two years ago, I didn’t know there was more hard testing coming my way. And not just for me!
We can take a lot of hard knocks in just two years, can’t we? We can hardly help wondering, though, why God does not ease up on us.
St. Paul assures us that it will all be very well worth it, more than we can imagine. Can we believe a man who, for his faith, was beaten, stoned, abused, reviled–and even shipwrecked? I think we can.
It’s just hard to do, sometimes.
The life of faith in Christ is not for wimps – the devil hates us, the world hates us, and our own flesh battles against us. “Lord have mercy on us” is the cry of genuine saving faith.
We can take a lot of hard knocks in just three years? Yes I have.
Brother Lee, have I got a story for you to read. If fits nicely with this post. It has tests, trials, and some grief. It’s a mixture, of what all lives contain. There is no review required, no work to do with this book, it just takes 45 minutes or less to read. You will be inspired, find some comfort, some humor, and will be able to relate to some of the things in the book.
I would send it, but you already have a PDF. Patty can show you where it is.
