“I like eugenics, too! Mein name ist Heinrich Himmler, und I endorse this message.”
Today’s settled science–excuse me, I mean Settled Science, with capital letters–is tomorrow’s pooh-bah. Poppycock. Twaddle. Benighted primitive and silly notions.
Lest we forget:
Pay special heed to the pseudo-science of Eugenics–by which nincompoops hoped to breed a race of supermen. Everybody was on the band wagon for eugenics, until the Nazis hopped onto to and destroyed its respectability. Margaret Sanger never had a bigger fan than Heinrich Himmler.
yeah, great group to go with. Think we are headed that way again? They all need to read the little book titled How BIG is God, and try to get their heads around it.
Life can come from only one Source, our Creator. That’s it; the only way any living thing can live is by having passed to it, life that came from God. In scripture, from literally the first page, we are admonished to become fruitful, and fill the earth. Nowhere in scripture is this directive reversed. I don’t think that it’s much of a stretch to say that God takes reproduction very seriously.
For any human to pass judgment upon someone else’s right to reproduce involves placing one’s own opinions ahead of God’s opinion on the matter. I find it troubling, when I see impoverished families struggling to support themselves, but I’m in no position to pass judgment regarding this. A theory like eugenics is a very slippery slope, which can quickly go from, possibility, to probability, to necessity, to mandatory. The next thing you know, human life itself is devalued to the point of being treated with contempt. The Chinese “One Child” policy comes to mind, and now, BTW, China is facing a demographic problem that some describe as a crisis.
Looks like the all-powerful, all-knowing government slipped up somewhere.
In a massive manner.
