Running for president in 2019, and getting hardly any votes, then-Sen. Kamala Harris called for the legalization of “sex work”–that’s “prostitution” in English.
That was back when she used to answer questions. She has since learned never to answer a question. Don’t answer, just babble. If there were a Casey Stengel-Irwin Corey School of Double-Talk, she’d be their most successful graduate.

Honestly, I think there’s something wrong with her. I don’t like the thought of her with access to the nuclear launch codes.
What she seems to be missing is that, even with legalized prostitution, there is still exploitation. Making prostitution illegal was a step forward for our civilization. Beyond the obvious moral objections, exploitation and risk of disease cannot be removed from the picture and, while making the practice illegal does not entirely eliminate the problem, it does at least discourage the practice.
Yeahbut–do Democrats want the disintegration of Western civilization, or not? I think they do. I think it’s flaming obvious they do.

There are boundaries that will affect a person for the rest of their life, once they are crossed. Selling one’s body is not a step that cannot be completely reversed. Likewise, a man who has bought sexual favors will live with his decision, long after the passion of the moment has fled.
When I was in my teens, my parents lived in a pleasant suburb of a major city, and most of the vice was confined to some of the seedier areas, downtown. We were insulated by distance, and I see this as having been for the good. A few years later, that sort of thing had moved closer to our suburb, occupying some unincorporated areas nearby, and there was conspicuous signage designed to grab the attention of passersby. Obviously these strip joints did well, because they stayed in business. Normally speaking, these are just the visible businesses masking other activities which are illegal.
Prostitution has existed since time immemorial. In the Law of Moses, prostitution was prohibited, referring to the practice as “disgraceful folly”. While I understand the argument that consenting adults have the legal freedom to do as they see fit, this doesn’t address the overall harm that comes from these practices. When prostitution became illegal in the US, that was usually done, not for moral reasons, but because of the disease risk.
When all is said and done, it’s culture rot promoted by liberals.
The first question asked of VP Harris in the presidential debate was “Are we better off today than four years ago?” She used her whole time putting down the Trump Administration using lying statistics and never answered the simple question she was asked. Just recently VP Harris was before a panel of black panelists and their first question was the same about being better off today than four years ago and this time she spent even more time not answering the question. Is she being possessed by the same demon Jezebel was?
