They won’t stop doing it till we hit ’em where it hurts.

I have to go to the hospital again this afternoon, and again on Thursday and Friday, for radiation treatments. But first I want to remind you to check out my Newswithviews column tomorrow morning: “Court Socks It to School Board.”

A court has ordered the West Point, Virginia, school district to pay $575.000 in damages to a teacher they fired for “misgendering” a student. The school board has also agreed to scrap that policy–no more forcing people to say things they hold to be untrue and morally abhorrent.

I wonder what it will take for this to catch on. School boards think they can do anything they please–and if it hurts and stresses a family, so much the better. “Hey, let’s change Johnny’s gender! And not let his parents know until after we’ve done it!”

Why doesn’t this result in jail time for the, um, “educators”?

    1. Consider the alternative: they can make you say things you don’t believe and throw you into prison if they think you’re not sincere.

Which is the dream of the Democrat Party.

  1. In a similar vein, my wife and I went and saw Matt Walsh’s “Am I a Racist?” movie at our local theater. He acts out as a white man “sincerely” wanting to understand why all whites are racists – the movie is about him doing so with for real famous race baiters like Roben Angelo of “White Fragility” fame being bamboozled by him. Very funny in places but mostly very disturbing.
