Thank You, Eldermike

I have never felt so sick and weak in my entire adult life. If anybody ever tells you chemotherapy is a piece of cake, uh-uh–don’t believe it.

Nevertheless, even as we speak, there’s always joy and merriment somewhere in the world: all way have to do is find it. Thank you for the tip, Eldermike! I needed this video! And for the rest of our little band of bloggers–well, just because I’m sick doesn’t mean we’re closed for comments.I’d much appreciate anyone’s efforts to take up the slack.

(Three more sessions, and I can stop doing this. Somewhere down the road lies normalcy.)

  1. That’s a good one. I think a lot of what we see, are just animals having fun, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

As for you, Lee, you’ve glimpsed the light at the end of the tunnel, and no, it’s not an oncoming train. Things will be better soon, and most importantly, you are defeating a serious medical condition.

  2. I’m so sorry, Lee. I’m glad the sessions are over soon.
I added your name to my prayer list when I first read of your medical situations, and I pray for you daily.
    Blessings~

  3. Reader’s Digest used to (and still may?) have a column called “Laughter Is the Best Medicine,” and they’ve also published a series of collections of these columns with titles by the same name. Anyway, it makes sense, if only that laughter increases oxygen intake, releases muscular tension, and produces endorphins, improving even your physical well-being. Go watch some more funny cat and dog videos. And maybe clips from old comedy movies.
