Gee! For some reason, rushing off to the hospital at 4 a.m. today has left me rather tired and wrung out. I wonder why.
Will you mind if I don’t post any nooze today? You don’t need me to tell you that tomorrow Donald Trump will be inaugurated as president, and hopefully a lot of things will start changing for the better. May the Lord give him wisdom and strength: he’ll need all the help he can get.
Patty and I want to watch movies today. Last night and this morning just sort of blew us away.
Maybe I’ll come back at suppertime with another hymn. We’re taking requests.
I don’t blame you at all for needing some rest. I know I do quite often. Oh, did my hymn request get through? I asked for Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, by Alan Jackson. If you get to it, fine, and if not, it will keep. Prayers continue.
I second Erlene’s request for “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.” And I’d also like to request “Do You Know My Jesus.”
I’d like to save yours as tomorrow’s first post, Phoebe.
We are awaiting a major snowstorm. I can’t help not believing the forecasts.
Of course, no rush.
We’re expecting bitter cold — subzero by Wednesday.
We’re worried about Patty’s car.
I don’t have one anymore.
And there is plenty of news today. There are four worship services in D.C. today and all the Cabinet appointees will have hands laid on them and be prayed over in Jesus Name!
I hope that wasn’t done for the Clinton and Obama cabinets.
