Move over, boyo–I’m sleepy, too.
The sky is rolling up its sleeves, preparing to dump a load of snow on us, and I’ve been fighting off drowsiness all day. Friday it’s back to the hospital… to “shave” the prostate. I kind of want to be sleepy.
Meanwhile, we have the latest hysteria from Democrats. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) sez President Donald Trump is–trumpet fanfare, please–“staring the death of democracy in the eyes” (https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2025/02/11/murphy-trump-has-u-s-staring-death-of-democracy-in-the-eyes/).
Has it escaped his notice that we live in a republic, NOT A ‘DEMOCRACY’? What does he even mean by this? He babbles about what happens when presidents “defy” the hack judges the last president appointed just to screw things up. Somehow “democracy” consists of rules invented by un-elected judges.
And of course it’s OK for Democrats to defy court rulings.
There will always be folly and hypocrisy. Maybe that means there’ll always be a Democrat Party to market it as wisdom.
Jesus used His strongest rebukes for the hypocrites. God has had mercy on America by having Trump & Company back in power, now may He reveal justice on all the liars – and there a bunch of them.
A lot of bad things have some to light. Those who support the rape of their nation can only fall back on desperate claims.
good morning friends. I spent another 4 days in hospital– grrrr Beginning to feel better this moorning, and so far, don’t have to be on oxygen, and sure hope it lasts. they said I would need it for 2-3 weeks, but I don’t think so– hope I am right.
Glad to have you back, sister.
Wonderful to hear from you, Erlene–and we’ll keep prayers flowing for you. Have a nice rest at home.
Welcome home from the hospital, Erlene, and I’ll keep praying for your full recovery and freedom from the oxygen machine. I came home from the hospital on Monday myself, but I’m still hooked up to an oxygen machine.
Patty’s on oxygen. too.
And I go back to the hospital on Friday, maybe come back home on Saturday. I sure hope so.
I’m glad you’re back home, Phoebe.
Thank you both for your nice notes- just keep me in prayer as you have time.
There’s always time for prayer! We make time for you, Erlene.
Thank you all- I really appreciate it, and I am praying for you too, and will continue.
