Vice President J.D. Vance has shaken up Europe with a question.
Why should American taxpayers pony up to fund governments that’ll throw your *** in jail the moment they don’t like a meme you posted on the Internet (https://revolver.news/2025/02/jd-vance-doubles-down-demands-germany-answer-this-billion-dollar-question/)? I’m sure I heard my mother asking the very same question (minus the Internet) when I was just a little boy.
Vance says he isn’t so worried by the Russians and Chinese as he is by the home-grown petty tyrants running Europe. Censorship, suppression of information, stifling free speech–Germany knows all about those things. So does the British Labor Party. And France has always had a mean streak. Europe could go under without the Russians or the Chinese lifting a finger against it.

I can only agree. Europe is not what it used to be. I hope it doesn’t happen in my lifetime, but I predict that there will be another great European war.
Yes, I heard his speech, and some of the aftermath. I didn’t hear anything that is not true. What a shame that so much of the world has fallen apart.
