Every now and then my old Political Science engine kicks in. Just now it’s very strongly hinting that there’s skulduggery afoot.
I imagine the Democrats in secret conclave, discussing their options.
“Damn! We got clobbered in that last election! I’m afraid the voters really hate us.
Meanwhile, “We can’t pass any legislation because we’re the minority, we can’t stop the majority from passing theirs, public opinion is against us more and more–”
And then… Eureka!
“Hot dog! We don’t need to win elections! The voters can go pound salt. The Republicans in Congress can’t stop us–because we’re going to rule the country through the courts!
“Guess what, Trump? Nothing you want to do will stand. Nothing those ungrateful racist trans-hating peasants want to do will be done. All it takes is one judge. Or one panel of judges. Judges appointed by Obama and Biden. They’ll soon slash Trump’s tires!”
Was this Obama’s plan all along? Seize the opportunity, appoint as many judges as you can: you’ll need ’em, if the stupid American people ever catch on to us. “We won’t have to win elections anymore! Our friendly judges will shoot down anyone who tries to stop us.”
One thing’s sure: Far Left Crazy won’t go gentle into that good night. Be prepared for a lot of kicking and screaming.
