People keep saying I look better. But I feel like a boulder rolled downhill and squashed me. I can’t imagine any reason for friends, family, and casual acquaintances to say this if it weren’t so. All I can say for sure is, I’m still sick.
And I have to wait till mid-August just to have a “consultation” about my no-good broken him. They’ll fix it… someday. Meanwhile, it hurts all night, all day. What I wouldn’t give for a good night’s sleep!
I will try to work today. Please pray for me and wish me luck.
May God grant you relief from the pain, rest and healing.
Check out DMSO. Lots of folks get pain relief using it topical. I get pain relief for nerve damage with DMSO. (Get great info and tons of research at A Midwestern Doctor’s website). It’s really, really good for joint pain. Word to the Wise
In this case, my hip is broken and needs to be replaced.
Prayers sent. Take things. Step at a time. The next step is scheduling the procedure, tnsts all you have to think about. You’ll do fine.
Sometimes people see things about us that we can’t see. If people say you’re looking better, you probably are — physically. It’s your discouragement that makes you feel worse but that they can’t see. Hang on. You’re getting there, little by little. Again, sometimes the closer we get to better, the worse everything looks. Meanwhile you’re in my prayers every day. I’ll offer my Holy Communion for you tomorrow morning.
And if all this sounds more than usually incoherent, it’s because once again I’m wrestling with my phone’s teeny-tiny keyboard. I do wish WordPress would stop throwing my computer-written comments down its memory hole.
Thanks, Phoebe, I need those prayers.
Prayers before God’s throne for you.
Thank you.
You need a dose of the Aaronic Benediction
“The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”
Amen brother
Thank you, Mike.
