I check my checking account balance every day. Just a habit from being a bookkeeper for a long time. I noticed the day before yesterday that there was an odd amount being withheld from the balance. I called the bank and was told I would get a call back. When they called back they told me that because Lee had died they were holding money back.
I had not told them of Lee’s death yet, so I assume it was Social Security who informed them. I had to run to the bank with a copy of the death certificate, fill out and sign a couple of forms and it was rectified. If I had not done so, anything that would come in for Lee (like his pay) would bounce back out of the account. Nice one, guys–a call to me would have been a help. I had had the account with that bank for close to fifty years. We were also assured at that time that it was joint–no problem if a death should occur. Wouldn’t it have been just dandy if my check to the lawyer had bounced? This bank also keeps sending e mails to their customers telling us how they are always “here for you.” Phooey.
I also noticed that in my previous post about the NFL, I neglected to mention that Bad Bunny was their choice to be featured in the Super Bowl half- time show. That was the “entertainer” that I was talking about.
How silly–we all know there is no such thing as a bad bunny.
God Bless Everybody

Can’t trust any of the businesses anymore (when did I get so cynical, I wonder?). I am praying for everything to go smoothly. I know HE has you in His hands right now. 🙂 All of us, really!
Thank you, Torrie, I am sure of that too.
Many businesses just don’t care, and won’t bother to inform you of problems. I can’t imagine what this world will be like in another 20 years, when the younger generation are completely in charge.
Bad Bunny is like invited Satan to put on the Super Bowl Halftime Show – what is wrong with the NFL? Plenty.
