Just to let you know, when I re-publish one of Lee’s previous articles, Word Press does not send an automatic email to subscribers. It will just appear as a new post (for now). I will figure out how to do this so you will get a notification, even for a reprint.
God bless everybody

The wonders of WordPress. 🙂
I complain often about WordPress, the internet, and my computer. But we forget how it used to be, not that long ago. In 2001 when I published my first book, I had to send my manuscript through the mail to the publisher. Wait to get it back with the corrections, check it over, make the changes needed and send it back through the mail, over and over until it was completed.
Now, I just attach the manuscript to an email, and the publisher or editor gets it immediately. In two or three days, its returned via email, with the corrections. Were there even blogs 20 years ago? Now I can video call my family back in the US anytime, and the picture and audio is good most of the time. Could you do that 20 years ago? Moreover, the only cost you pay, is for the internet. To do that, even 15 years ago, I needed a video camera and there were other costs.
Sure, at times it’s very frustrating, but would you want to go back to how it was 20 years ago?
How does that song go … count your blessings, count them one by one …

So true, Mike–we get so spoiled, so fast. Patty
My friend’s children just bought a giant flat screen TV, which takes up over a third of the living room wall. You want to watch a movie, press a button, and speak the title of the movie, and it loads it. You want to sing karaoke, just speak the name of the song and singer, and away you go.
They also have a laptop, which works with a speaker system. Again, just speak the name of the song and singer (old or new song) and you can pretend you can sing, and belt out any song you want. I just had to check it out. So I said “The Master’s Call” by Marty Robbins, yep, it came up, including the lyrics.
That sounds very useful.
That’s some kind of technology.
