That is an uplifting story. Animals are important, and they obviously have feelings. It’s wonderful that the farmer saw fit to treat her kindly, and even more wonderful that she has such a home. With the disappointing things that seem to crowd the daily news, it is truly uplifting to learn about such acts of kindness and mercy.
