I just came back from Walgreens. (I know, I wasn’t going to go there, but they had it first). I am going to switch to the local pharmacy for the next prescription.
I never had such a mix up in my life, getting an order filled and sent to the right place. I truly think some of the chain pharmacies are too big and too fixed in their ways to provide real customer service.
At any rate, it is done for now.
I also realized how out of shape I am. Getting in and out of my neighbor’s SUV was like a workout and left me panting for a few minutes.
More to come, later.
I am having to check my blood pressure every day now (I bought a high-quality devise that goes around the upper arm) because my diastolic reading has gone down to 40 – this makes me feel like I am going to faint sometimes. I have started wearing compression stockings and lifting my feet about my head 30 minutes a day. I am determined not to use pharmaceutical drugs. We were not warned about the pitfalls of being old (78). My prayers are with you, Patty.
I can’t help but agree with you. I want to avoid all drugs if possible. I have worn compression socks for a number of years now. Light compression for ankle swelling. Venous insufficiency. I think it would be great if somehow we could take some of the stress out of everyday life. That would be a game-changer. My prayers are with you, also. Getting older is definitely not for sissies!
I moved all my prescriptions to a nearby pharmacy. I had been using a larger pharmacy for years, and was tired of all the rigamarole.
Yes, they are too big and too regimented.
