The weather was better today. I was too absorbed in what I was doing to get out, but that will take place tomorrow.
It seems we are having a meat shortage here (at Whole Foods). I am going to try the butcher in Edison tomorrow. I hope he delivers as I don’t want to be tooling around with an expired inspection sticker. That’s another thing that has to be addressed ASAP.
It is supposed to be warmer again tomorrow (although it is going way down again tonight) which will be a help.
I have eaten so much chicken in the last couple of weeks I feel like I am sprouting pinfeathers. I like chicken, but enough is enough. Evidently the meat shortage is real–the national herd (I didn’t know they tracked these things) is at its lowest in 75 years due to drought and other problems in the Southwest. Or so they say.
Upward and onward.
God bless everybody.

It’s always something, these days.
Yep.
We eat mostly hamburger meat at our house. My wife has false teeth, so sirloin steak is out of the question, although a nice juicy ribeye does the trick. I have a meatloaf cooking right now.
I eat a lot of hamburger also. One reason is the price. I am tired of spending big bucks on a steak and having it be tough.
