Today was a really busy day.
I received the CDs that contained Mark Rushdoony’s biography of his father the other day. For some weird reason, my computer’s built-in DVD player would not play them.
I called our computer technician, Adam, this morning and he fixed the problem. It took a while as there was also a problem with my automatic backup. The great part is that he can do all of that remotely because we are connected. He is a whiz and we have relied on his expertise for around 20 years.
I started to read Mark’s book, and right now I think I may do a daily review of the book, section by section, rather than one overall review as there is so much material. Rushdoony led such an incredibly interesting and productive life that I think that would be the best approach. I’m not sure yet, but will figure out what is best.
Very gray and overcast again here today, but they are insisting that later in the week we will have really springlike temperatures and sunshine. There are a few crocuses, sprouting on the lawn. They are so lovely. Purple and white.
Did not do much in the way of any projects today. I didn’t put out those notes of Lee’s because although I don’t have a problem disposing of them, somehow I just can’t put them out in the rain. Funny, how the mind works.
Pray for our troops.
God bless everybody.
Patty

Sounds like a move in a good direction. Overcoming computer problems is always good. However you dispose of those notes, make it dignified.
I will you may be sure of that.
I have ordered the Rushdoony biography book by his son Mark – looking forward to reading it.
Me too. I saw a talk that Mark gave a few years ago about his father and am looking forward to reading his book.
