Today, contrary to predictions, the weather was sunny and warm (without wind gusts), so that made the day good, right from the start.
Today (after a one half hour battle with my computer) I took a really deep dive into Mark Rushdoony’s book about his father. What can I say? I spent several hours completely engrossed. I will do a review of the book when I finish it.
For those of you who do not know about Dr. Rushdoony, he was not only one of the leading voices for the home schooling movement, but also the founder of The Chalcedon Foundation (Lee’s employer). He was also very active in so many other aspects of Christian life and education that they are too numerous to mention here and now. I’m sure there are many other aspects of his life and work that I will find as I read more.![]()
I will do a complete review of the book when I finish reading it.
I can’t wait to get back to it.
Pray for our troops.
God bless everybody.
Patty
That battle for home schooling is critical. How I wish I could have been home schooled. Several, among my nieces and nephews ended up in home schooling, and in every case it served them very well.
At this point in time, especially, it is the only way to go.
