What a cute little fellow! It’s a shame that he apparently lacked proper care. While I love exotic pets, it’s usually best to stick to something more common, unless you have plenty of space, an acceptable climate for a proper habitat and, especially, proper legal standing to keep such a pet.
Yes exotic pets require a dedication of time and expense that they are often not given.
And expertise. Care for them poorly, and it can be very bad.
