Interesting critters. Sadly, the AI narration really detracts. What is wrong with these creators?
Beats me.
I see a lot of it. I saw a video about the ancient Sumerians and in the middle of it, there was a photo of a modern automobile engine. Obviously all AI generated, including unexplained hesitations and mispronounced words. Clicked out of that one fairly quickly.
It’s all over the place.
AI is really getting to be an irritation.
its all over the place
Saw another one today. I find that AI moving images of people talking is difficult to so much as look at.
It’s really not so hot.
It can be revolting when I see a “realistic” AI image of a human in a video. I find it troubling. It looks right, at a superficial level, but there is something missing. At a deep level, we know its not real, and watching such a video, when presented as serious, just strikes me poorly. I NEVER finish watching such a video.
agreed
I don’t want to get all metaphysical, but there is something in a human that can’t be duplicated by AI. I’m not bothered by normal animation, but AI is too close to real and still misses reality by a wide margin. The eye is the window to the soul, but that doesn’t work with AI.
Yes, AI is just “off” enough to be creepy.
Very creepy.
