I am not superstitious. That being said, today really shaped up as the 13th. Glad it wasn’t a Friday, too.
Somehow I managed to hurt both hands–yep, both of them a twofer.
I wear a step counter in the vain hope that I will somehow, some way get out and walk. The one I had was acting a little iffy, so I got a replacement a few weeks ago and decided to use it today. It came in a plastic container (more like graphene) and I had a devil of a time trying to get it out. That stuff was absolutely bulletproof. I had to squeeze so hard with my kitchen shears (which can cut just about anything) that I made my right hand really sore. Then when I tried to poke a hole in the little compartment that held .the lanyard for your neck, I stabbed the finger on my left hand.
I am now wearing the blanking thing, but will attempt nothing risky for the rest of the day. Maybe I should eat my supper with a spoon.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody.

A lot of this packaging it to reduce shoplifting. I use a cabler’s shears, but even those, made for cutting wire, can barely open some packages. Sadly, it was a wasted day. Pleasant temperatures, but cloudy and very windy, all day. Other than picking up a parcel that came in the mail, I stayed indoors.
