First, I woke up tired. That’s unusual. Then right after lunch I fell asleep which is something I never do. I had that crummy have to catch-up feeling all afternoon.
A good thing did happen, though. There was a fawn in the grass curled up about 5 feet from my apartment door. We left him alone ( as you are supposed to) and he was gone later in the day. There is a small herd of deer that hang out around St. Francis Cathedral, which is across the street from my house, and I’m assuming he belongs with that group. His mom probably came and picked him up. I think I have a picture, but I have to play with it to see if I can get it on the computer.
The latest word on the man who was shot the other night–he is not in critical condition any more, but no word about the arm. My friend and her husband will try to visit him in a day or two, if they are allowed to.
Aside from that, no news.
Have a good night, all.
God bless everybody.
Patty
That is usually the best thing to do with a fawn. Prayers continue for the shooting victim. These are bad times.
