Much to my surprise, I tackled another job today that I have been putting off for months. It is just about finished. I truly didn’t expect to handle another biggie today, but I did. And it’s almost done. Hooray!
The National Weather Service was down today, at least for me it was. I have the shortcut right on my desktop, as I check it several times a day, and I wanted to find out about a really bad heat wave that is on the way for this coming week. It says “service unavailable” and when I investigated, was informed that the service is having really bad problems and is not working. They are talking temperatures over 100 and it’s supposed to last the entire week, without the usual cooling down at night.
I have to say an extra prayer for my air conditioner.
Tomorrow I have to hit the store as I didn’t go today, so I’ll make sure to get out early before it gets too hot.

Yow! You are predicted to have significantly higher temperatures there, than our prediction for Arizona, in June, which is usually our hottest month. Keep water nearby, it’s your best friend in the heat. When I take my bike ride, I take a water bottle with several ice cubes to keep the water cool and make it more palatable.
