I learned (or re-learned) a valuable lesson today.

Today’s pearl of wisdom is–you can’t do two things at once.  I know the fashion today is for multitasking, but that’s erroneous.  If you attempt to do two things at once, both will suffer.  At least that’s the way it works for me.

Today was  OK, but not super great.

Still working on pacing myself–the adjustment to my new situation    interferes with scheduling stuff, timing stuff and vainly attempting to finish the stuff I start.  That’s the hard part.

Tomorrow I hit the drugstore for my prescription, and maybe a quick pop into Whole Foods.  I discovered Amy’s frozen ravioli last night and they are really delicious.

With that, I will close.

Have a good night, all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

Patty

  1. I have always had the tendency to try to do too many things all at once. I’ve gotten better about it, but the tendency continues to raise its head, on occasion. Our mechanized, automated world promotes this, but truly, we are at our best when we don’t try to multitask every single thing.
