This hero is coming home. A paw had to be amputated, and he is truly lucky to be alive. Thanks to all who contributed to his medical care and his recovery. The piece of slime who shot him was fleeing police on charges of sexual harm to a minor and was shot and killed by police in a standoff.
A terrible thing to have happened and all for someone who had abandoned his own humanity.
That dog will be happily living with his handler.
