Peep really hated going to the vet. Not at first, but after the COVID garbage, they changed the whole dynamic. Instead of you bringing your cat to the exam room, they would take them in (away from you) and leave you sitting outside. Peep was extremely aggressive because she was absolutely terrified. If I had been there it would not have been the same. It was horrible. I can’t even talk about how it was when we had to put her down, it was the worst day of my life, and the stupid, insensitive vet made a remark which I can’t repeat to this day. If I had not been crying my eyes out, I would have punched that woman in the nose.
They can be very clever about not letting the vet’ near them. Y cat has to be given a mild sedative, before her visit.
That’s a good idea, but the Covid protocol messed things up big-time as well.
