Checked my mail a few minutes ago and there was a 5 page letter from Verizon, telling me that they were going to “discontinue copper-based home phone service”. In about two months. This is not the time of day to hit me with a bunch of confusing crap.
Needless to say, I am putting it aside and will pick it up tomorrow morning.
I hate change.
Just skimming this thing it does appear that I will be responsible for keeping whatever I end up with powered. Batteries, etc.
I am getting a headache.
I bought a cell phone several months ago, and ended up getting so frustrated trying to use it I cancelled the carrier. Every time I turned the blasted thing on it kept asking me if I wanted to call 911.
I will address this tomorrow.
Have a good night all.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody
Patty
That’s happening a lot, and Verizon is working hard to abandon its two-wire system. It might make more sense to port your number to a mobile phone.
