I should have known better

I was quite tired this morning, so I ended up going downtown to run what should have been a 10 minute errand in the afternoon.  I usually try to go early in the day.  Especially on a nice day.  Especially on a Saturday.  Especially in the summer.  My little borough just is a people magnet.  Folks seem to come from miles around just to take up all the parking spaces and mill around.  I don’t know what the attraction is.

So it took me much more time than it should have.

The air conditioning really was not that effective.  I hope that slow leak that they talked about a few months ago has not become a fast leak.  I ended up going around and around the parking lot like the Flying Dutchman looking for a space,  I couldn’t use the handicapped spots as they were both taken.  So when a spot opened up I took it.  It was hotter than blazes.  I had on a thin nylon windbreaker which I always wear because I don’t carry a purse and it has nice deep pockets for wallet, keys, etc.. Well today it felt like a down ski jacket.

By the time I got home, I was really behind in what I wanted to do.

Hence, the fewer posts.

Tomorrow will be better as I don’t have to go anywhere.

That’s it for today.

Have a good night, all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

Patty

  1. Tourism is not always fun for the residents. We have a lot of winter visitors in Arizona, and as much as we appreciate them, sometimes they act like everyone is on vacation, which is a real problem when you are trying to go about your business and you get stuck behind a motor home going 15 MPH down the main drag.

I would have tnat leak looked into. In these parts, auto A/C is very important.
