There is so much of this lately. Why are people doing this? Ringworm is highly contagious. When we adopted our girls there were a couple of cats with ringworm (they were in isolation, and could not be petted or handled). Now I see the use of nitrile gloves is common, which is a blessing for the poor cats–they can at least be petted.
But the cats on the boat? That I don’t understand at all.
It sounds like some very bad problems are happening up there. Hopefully they will be able to find homes for all of them.
There’s way too much of this.
