Holy moley, what a day.

I’ll give you a hint.

I was on the phone with Verizon, trying to get the problems with my new set-up fixed, when the exterminator arrived.  Doing two things at once is not my forte, so I hung up on the Verizon robot and got back to that after he left.  He said mice.  He put down some bait and said I should leave it for a few days (not very specific).  He was not very informative.  He didn’t give me a business card or anything.  He’s probably a friend of the landlord.  My neighbor is coming tomorrow to help me get rid of the contaminated bedding, etc.   Everything seems to happen at once–oh, well–at least it’s progress.

Back to Verizon.  After their wall of robots, I finally got to a human being and she was able to do a lot on the phone.  It seems to be working fine, but I have a few tests to perform–I’ll get my friend to help with that.  It seems to have forgotten my message program.  It used to be if I would call my own number, for example, I would get my recorded message.  It seems to have forgotten that altogether.  I’ll work on that tomorrow.  Other than that, the phone seemed to be working beautifully, no fading, disappearing voices, etc.  We’ll see.

I’m really tired now.

However, I do not have that “I might be coming down with something” feeling today.

And that’s my tale of woe for now.

Have a good night, all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

Patty

  1. Mice! They can be a real problem. See what happens.

Getting to a human can be a real problem with some of these companies, and phone providers are the worst. I had a problem with my American Express card and called to cancel the card. You can bet that I was talking to a friendly and helpful person right away.
