Yesterday, I had to nip out to the store early in the morning. I went out in the pouring rain (did you know that mosquitoes can bite in the rain?) and the car would not start. The battery is new and supposedly still under warranty. I was so deflated, disgusted whatever you want to call it that I did something I never do. I laid on the sofa all day, slept off and on and did nothing but scratch my mosquito bites. Zero wind in my sails. My neighbor is working full time right now, so he is busy on the weekends. I left him a voice mail. I don’t think I’ve ever been so very out of gas (emotionally) in my life. It was just one more thing. I can’t seem to fix one problem before I get hit with another. Josh (my neighbor) and I got together around 3. He took me to the store, then started to work on the battery. He’s taking it back for a replacement, and I really believe there is some kind of short in my electrical system, which I suspected a long time ago. That, too will have to be fixed.
Hopefully, today will be better.
