The title says it all. Yesterday was really good–accomplished a lot.
Last night I woke up around 3 AM feeling positively awful. I can’t really describe how I felt. My COPD felt worse, but it wasn’t that. I had no pain, no fever, no nothing. I debated–asking myself if I wanted to go to the ER at that hour, and I really did not want to. So I decided to drink some water. I’ve mentioned before about not drinking enough, it’s a truly bad habit. I find that by the end of the day, on many days, I end up just having drunk 2 cups of coffee for the whole day. I have wine before and during supper, (total wine 8 ounces) with a great deal of ice. I use about one and a half ice trays with that (for which wine purists would cut my heart out). And I eat very large portions of vegetables every night as part of my supper(another good source of water), but I still think it’s not enough. So now, I have started (today) drinking water. I have spring water delivered, so there’s always good cold water on hand. In about an hour I felt fine and was able to go back to sleep easily. So I guess I’ve figured out that problem. I hope so.
We’ll see how it goes tonight.
Have a good night, all.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody.

Hydration is crucial where I live. I probably drink three quarts of herbal tea, most days and in the heat of summer, that exceeds a gallon. I also have an electrolyte mix that I use before my bike ride. Being dehydrated will make everything worse.
Nothing against coffee, but it doesn’t help you to stay hydrated.
It’s a bad habit, not to drink. I have started being more aware of it and am drinking more.
As the years go on, apparently there’s a tendency to not feel the need to hydrate. For whatever the reason, even before moving to the desert, I have needed to have some tea or water always available, but in this climate it gets very serious.
