Today was so-so, not great.
Ever since Lee’s death, I’ve had occasional bouts of what could best be called anxiety. Not a panic attack, or anything like that–just anxiety. I kind of sit myself down, deep-breathe, and make a conscious effort to relax. It usually works, but it takes awhile and truthfully, I would rather not have to deal with it. I also get anxious when I first go out to do something, but that passes right away.
I’m sure those of you out there who are widowed may have had to deal with something like this.
Or maybe it’s just me.
Aside from that, it was an OK day.
I still have the problem with Lee’s reprints. Jill did tell me how to do it, but honestly, it’s too complicated for me. Today I put two reprints out there and they both got zero views, and that’s because no e mail is sent for them (even though the darn computer tells me emails are being sent for them when I post them grrrr.) If I ever get the energy, I will call Jill and have her instruct me over the phone, which will require me to change my phone cord as the computer I use is at the other end of the apartment. Lee used a laptop at the table, but that poor thing is so old and cranky I wouldn’t touch it.
My energy levels are really low.
Aside from all this whining, it was a pretty ok day.
Have a good night, all.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody.

I think it’s normal to have periods of anxiety, like this. You’ve been through a major loss. I don’t have many suggestions, beyond realizing that you only feel this way part of the time, and will have a greater proportion of good days, as time gone on.
Many thanks for the kind words. I had never experienced this before. It will lessen, as you say.
It will get better. At first every day seems bad, with a few good moments, now and then. As time passes, the good times increase and the truly bad times come less and less.
It’s probably more noticeable right now because of the timing. It’s so close to the anniversary of Lee’s passing.
