Thats quite the metamorphosis. It just takes a while for some animals to learn to trust. 21 countries? I’ve been to 3. 🙂
I’ve only crossed into Mexico. Just the border. Not big on travel.
You can almost see Mexico, from here. I haven’t been there since the ‘90s, and can see little reason to ever go back. I don’t drink Kahlua (which is cheaper there) and don’t need any onyx chess sets that fall apart by the time you get them home. Prescription medications used to be less expensive in Mexico, but the last I knew about, they raised their prices to match US levels, at least for turistas. I did have some great green corn tamales down there, once. Seriously, I have zero desire to visit there again. I did some work down there, close enough to the border that I could have tossed a pebble across the border, but never even gave thought to actually going there.
I had a trip to southern Canada, long ago. It was pleasant. I liked Saskatchewan more than Manitoba. Some pretty country, up there.
