Lousy morning-great afternoon

Most of the day was crappy.  This morning I had to stop payment and re issue the rent check which my landlord lost.  I had a really hard time getting organized.  Lots of diddly-stuff to do.

This afternoon, I decided to try a trip to the store, sure that my car would not start, and guess what?   It started right up.  Hallelujah!  And thank you, Jesus from the bottom of my heart.  The last time I took the car out, when I came home I made sure to turn everything off–the A/C, the radio, everything.

When I got home today, I looked online and read an article about battery issues.  This article said that today’s cars (I don’t have one of those) drain batteries much faster than older cars because of all the new things that cars have.  My car has none of the things that the article mentioned, but it did stress running the car–it also said time running was more important than miles.  If I attempt to go 10 miles in this town it will take me over an hour.  It’s the way things are laid out here.

At any rate, I can table the problem of my cars electrical system for now, which is a big plus.  One worry down.

That really lifted my spirits.

And believe me, they really needed lifting.

Have a good night, all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

Patty

  1. I have two vehicles, one that is about a year old, and a pickup that I drove daily since 2010. i make it a point to drive the pickup at least once a week, and hopefully take a longer trip every month or so.
