All I am going to say about today is that I finally paid my Verizon bill.
All by myself.
With zero help from Verizon.
That was the stupidest, most time-consuming, waste of effort that I have ever had the misfortune to participate in.
When I saw yet another email today from Verizon telling me I could lose my connection, I just sat and looked at the thing. A totally information-free “bill” with no amount owed on it, nor an account number, nor any information of any value. I just looked at it for awhile, then paid it by putting in my zip code and the fake phone number (not my real phone number as I do not have a wireless phone) and it worked.
I pray that my mind is not beginning to work like Verizon. That would be a fate worse than death.
