A mostly wasted day

It was indeed, a mostly wasted day.  It seemed that everything I attempted to do could not be done for one reason or another.  A lot of wheel-spinning.

I’m still fighting the battle of Walgreens (which should probably be classed right up there with Gettysburg.)  I can’t understand why such a huge chain should have to order a  medicine and have such a hard time getting it.

I need a vacation.

I now have developed a problem with my vitamin C which I’ve been taking for years.  I can’t take pills, so I open the capsule and mix the powder with something.  I used yogurt for years, then I thought I would try applesauce (big mistake, that mixture was far too acidic).  I’ve switched back to the yogurt, but somehow after I take it I just get gastric irritation and feel like my stomach has been blown up by a bicycle pump.  So I have to take Gas X right after I take the C.

The joys of aging.

I am now going to have my supper, watch a little TV and put this day behind me.

I can start up with Walgreens all over again tomorrow.

Aargh!

Have a good night all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

Patty

  1. The Walgreens thing amazes me. Don’t they offer auto-refill, where they anticipate the refill and order ahead of time? No suggestions on the vitamin C thing.

    1. Yes, they do. But I seem to have fallen out of favor. This is relatively new. It’s due to over expansion and then they cut staff. That makes a lot of sense–not.
